HRP are seeking to submit planning for the re-development of Post Office Road Car Park. The Site will deliver circa 169 high-quality homes comprising one- and two-bedroom apartments along with new areas of Public Open space acting as a gateway to Harlow Town Centre.

Project description
Post Office Road car park plays a crucial role in the Harlow Town Centre Masterplan Framework, supporting the development of new homes while preserving the majority of mature trees on-site. The plans will create a new public amenity space coordinating with Essex County Council Sustainable Transport Corridor improvements to and from the Train Station to the Town Centre.
This site is currently being used as a temporary bus station, while the existing bus station is transformed into a new sustainable transport hub.
Before submitting a planning application, we are keen to hear the thoughts of the local community. Our consultation will be live on this website between 31 March 2025 – 14 April 2025, where you will be able to view our plans and provide us with your feedback and thoughts on the proposals. We also invite members of the public to visit our public exhibitions taking place:
- On: Thursday 3 April 2025 between: 2pm – 8pm
- And: Saturday 5 April 2025 between 10am – 2pm
